Meet Jessica Clark
Frustrated by advice that never stuck and quick fixes that did not address real issues, I began my journey as a dog trainer when my own beloved dog developed fear-based reactivity. I visited trainer after trainer, but each time I was given generic solutions or heard empty promises. I know firsthand the helplessness and disappointment that comes when you want the best for your dog but keep running into roadblocks. This personal struggle is where my commitment to affordable, truly supportive dog training started. I became a certified dog trainer through the GoodPup Certification program and dedicated myself to ongoing education, ensuring that I always bring proven new techniques and knowledge to every session. Every dog is different, so each training plan I create is fully customized after a detailed consultation - never one-size-fits-all. My goal is always to work beside owners, not above them, offering guidance, encouragement, and honest answers at every step. I keep my prices as low as possible because every family deserves expert care for their dog, not just those with extra to spend. When you work with me, you get a trainer who genuinely listens and stays available by phone or email even between sessions. Whether your dog is shy, excitable, or has struggled with reactivity like mine once did, you will find compassionate support and practical solutions designed just for your situation. If you feel let down by traditional methods or worried about taking the next step, you are not alone; I am here to walk this journey with you and your dog.

Founder & Certified Trainer

Jessica Clark
Owner and Certified Trainer
Jessica Clark built Pawsitive Pals Canine Training out of a deep understanding of the ups and downs faced by dog owners. Her journey began when her own dog developed fear-based reactivity, leading her on a search for effective, lasting solutions. After finding that many trainers relied on high costs or quick fixes that did not last, Jessica became certified through the GoodPup program and embraced lifelong learning in evidence-based training. Her expertise spans basic obedience, agility, and, most importantly, challenging behaviors like aggression and reactivity. Jessica believes in open communication and partnership with every client, so she is always available to answer questions and provide support between sessions. By combining ongoing education, genuine empathy, and a focus on keeping training accessible, Jessica has earned the trust of local families throughout Salem, West Salem, Dallas, Keizer, and Independence. She stands for realistic, positive results built on understanding - not judgment - and tailors every plan to each unique dog and owner team.
