Meet your trainer: Jessica Clark;
Owner and Certified Trainer

Hello, my name is Jessica, and this is my girl, Ginger. She is the reason I became a trainer. When Ginger began exhibiting severe fear-based reactivity, I reached out to several trainers, each using different training methods, but nothing seemed to help. Walks and park visits became impossible, and each day felt more challenging than the last. After a particularly upsetting experience at a park, I decided to look for a better approach. Through researching different training methods, I discovered positive reinforcement and bubble theory. After some trial and error, I found a program that helped Ginger thrive and strengthened our bond. The journey was not easy, but it was worth it. Ginger made me the dog trainer I am today, and she continues to shape the dog trainer I become as I learn more from her every day.

Affordable, Supportive Training

That personal struggle shaped my commitment to dog training that is affordable, compassionate, and truly supportive. I became a certified dog trainer through the GoodPup Certification Program and continue to invest in ongoing education so I can bring proven, up-to-date techniques to every session.

Customized Plans for Every Dog

Because every dog is different, every training plan begins with a detailed consultation and is tailored to your dog, your goals, and your home life. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all training. Instead, I work beside owners with guidance, encouragement, and honest answers every step of the way.

Accessible Care and Ongoing Support

I keep my prices as low as possible because every family deserves expert care for their dog—not just those with extra to spend. When you work with me, you get a trainer who listens, supports you between sessions, and stays available by phone or email when questions come up.

Compassionate Help for Real-Life Challenges

Whether your dog is shy, excitable, or struggling with reactivity, you will find practical solutions designed for your situation. If you have felt let down by traditional methods or worried about taking the next step, you are not alone. I am here to walk this journey with you and your dog.

Why I Built Pawsitive Pals

I built Pawsitive Pals Canine Training from a deep understanding of the challenges dog owners face. My experience includes basic obedience, agility, and complex behaviors such as aggression and reactivity. Most importantly, I approach each dog-and-owner team with empathy, patience, and respect.

A Partnership-Based Approach

I believe effective training starts with open communication and a true partnership. That means I am available to answer questions, offer support between sessions, and help you feel confident as you practice at home.
